Port 3 text type done!
We’ve completed Text Type 3, a tactile typing tutor for visually impaired students that should be perfect for anyone learning to type.
New features aimed at students with very low vision problems:
• Text to speech is available for almost any text on the screen
• TAB, Space and Enter can be used to access most functions
• Newly recorded male and female voices are used to request the next keypress and warn of wrong keypress
• One-handed typing is now included in Text Type 3
Please see Text Type 3.
Text Type 3 phase 2, has been available on the site for over a year and will be available for another three months. It can be found here
