The National Communications Entity ( ENACOM ) will deliver free tablets to young people between 15 and 25 years old, within the framework of the Connecting with You program that consists of an investment of $3,500 million, which is also accessed by monotributistas, among other social groups. Free tablets for young people: who can access and requirements
Free tablets can be had by young people between 15 and 25 years old who are already participants in the following initiatives and social plans:
- National, Provincial or Municipal Programs of educational support, educational re-linking, whether at the middle level, school for adults, tertiary, university or other state management.
- Enrolled in job training schools or job training courses and / or trades accredited by the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security of the Nation.
- Beneficiaries of the employment promotion programs of the aforementioned Ministry.
- Participate in cultural, sports, social projects, among others, promoted by the National Government, the Provincial and/or Municipal Governments.
Free tablets for monotributistas
There are a total of 140,000 technological devices that the entity will distribute to monotributistas with the aim of full integration and social development through the use of information and communication technologies.
To access, provincial and municipal jurisdictions, civil associations, community networks and other intermediate entities with a territorial presence in popular neighbourhoods must fill out a form on Enacom’s official website and enter how many tablets they need.
The organism will evaluate the inscription and finally, will make the delivery to the destination.
Free tablets for young people: registration
- It will not be necessary to register as Enacom will evaluate the request and assign the equipment according to availability. Each beneficiary will receive a tablet and will be informed individually.
- When the beneficiaries receive the tablet, they must sign an adhesion contract.
What is Connecting with You for ANSES beneficiaries
Connecting with You is a program launched by Enacom and seeks to promote access to equipment that contributes to insertion, integration and social development through the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs).
As Enacom sources confirmed to Infobae this Thursday, within the objective universe of the program are the holders of the Universal Child Allowance (AUH), the holders of the Progresar Scholarships, retirees, pensioners and monotributistas. However, they clarified that “people cannot sign up to receive the tablets, but this is done through agreements.”
On March 29, the Enacom vice president, Gustavo López, and the Peronist national deputy Victoria Tolosa Paz led an event in La Plata in which they delivered 4,000 tablets to beneficiaries of the National Plan Connected With You, an initiative that promotes access to a equipment that contributes to insertion, integration and social development through the use of information and communication technologies.
In front of a significant number of residents of the Platense Club of the Buenos Aires capital,Tolosa Paz and López carried out the first massive delivery of tablets in the Province of Buenos Aires.According to the national deputy, they are tablets aimed at a vulnerable population, “which is the population that the President (Alberto Fernández) wants to reach either with the subsidised rate, forcing connectivity providers to take care of this population or delivering the equipment.
Likewise, during the act, a non-reimbursable contribution of $117,542,803 was signed for the Cooperativa Telefónica y de Electricidad de Abasto, which will allow the extension of fiber optics to 14 popular neighbourhoods in the western region of the La Plata district.
One by one, who can access
As specified in Synthesised Resolution 448/2021, which was published in the Official Gazette, the recipients of the Connecting with You Program are the following:
a) Beneficiaries of the Universal Child Allowance (AUH) and the Pregnancy Allowance, as well as their children between the ages of 16 and 18, and members of their family group (father/mother, spouse/partner).
b) Beneficiaries of Non-Contributory Pensions who receive gross monthly income not exceeding two Minimum Vital and Mobile Salaries (SMVM) as well as their children between 16 and 18 years of age.
c) Registered users and users registered in the Social Monotax Regime as well as their children between 16 and 18 years old.
d) Retired men and women; pensioners and pensioners ; and workers in a dependency relationship who receive a gross remuneration less than or equal to two SMVM, as well as their children between 16 and 18 years of age.
e) Monotax workers registered in a category whose annual monthly income does not exceed two Minimum Vital and Mobile Wages, as well as their children between 16 and 18 years of age.
f) Users who receive unemployment insurance as well as their children between 16 and 18 years of age.
g) Users included in the Special Social Security Regime for Employees of Private Houses (Law No. 26,844) as well as their children between 16 and 18 years of age.
h) Users who receive a scholarship from the Progresar program.
